Cleaning Instructions: After the use, the cap must be washed, both for sanitary reasons and because all the cream must be removed from the cap, in order to avoid that the material loses its elasticity. Use delicate garment detergent. Other detergents or soaps, especially those common in hospitals, leave a residual film on the electrode.
Sterilization: REUSABLE device. No autoclaving.
Packaging: plastic bag.
Lifetime: If correctly used the cap can be used up till 500 applications before the electrical parts will be deteriorated. Also the elasticity of the material is important for the cap life. If the material loses elasticity, the cap must be replaced since the right placement of the electrodes is not guaranteed anymore.
Storage: Any particular precautions for storing are not necessary but it’s recommended to put the dry cap in its box after washing.
Transport and Waste disposal: Any particular transport condition is expected. Manage the product as sanitary waste in conformity with the regulations in force.
Regulations: class I device. Comply with MDD 93/42/CEE (D.L. 46/97) and manufactured according to the procedures of BIONEN Quality System certified ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003.
