DIAGNOSIS AND MONITORING IN ICU |
|
| |
Neurophysiologic Monitoring is the ideal method to evaluate the cerebral functions in patient who either, for coma deepness or for sedatives administration, can not be clinically evaluated.
Continuous EEG-SEP monitoring is the perfect integration to the standard monitored parameters in the NICU environment: it ultimately shows how much the cerebral parenchyma keeps its metabolic activity during acute cerebral damage and the integration of this technique with the typical monitoring helps in the selection of a proper patient treatment.
ICU.NET is the instrument of choice to answer this requirement:
All the needed pieces of information (conventional EEG, quantitative EEG trends, SEP waterfall, SEP latency and amplitude trends…) can be showed in one unique, global screen layout.
Intensive Care staff can follow the essential parts of neuro-physiological monitoring thanks to a dedicated simple and intuitive user interface.
During the recording the exam can be checked online both at patient bed and from remote.
ICU.NET, available in a trolley-based configuration specifically designed for intensive care, allows to complete the diagnostic capability of standard “on-demand” EEG, EP, EMG sessions.

Clinical Benefits:
• EEG: diagnosis and treatment of status epilepticus (EEG)
• EEG: differential diagnosis of motor manifestation (epileptic/non epileptic)
• EEG: evaluation of coma deepness
• EEG: prognostic value (especially of ipoxic-ischemic coma)
• SEP: drug resistant
• SEP: replicable, easy to interpret value
