The MagPro series of non-invasive magnetic stimulators is designed for clinical examinations and therapeutic applications, within neurophysiology, neurology, rehabilitation and psychiatry.
The series consists of:

The MagPro X100 and X100+Option addressing a wide range of research purposes including deep nerve stimulation.
- The MagPro R100 ideal for neuronal and muscular stimulation.
The first MagPro was introduced in 1992 and the MagPro series of today addresses a wide range of clinical and research applications including Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS).
Depression/ Schizophrenia are just two of the many areas magnetic stimulation is starting to be more commonly used with rTMS (repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for the less severe forms of depression. Now Ectron and MagVenture are jointly pioneering research into the next generation of magnetic stimulators for use within Psychiatry for the treatment of depression - Magnetic Seizure Therapy (M.S.T) So far results from clinical trials have been very positive and may in the future lead to a commercially available M.S.T machine for the treatment of depression. As the ‘Magnetic SEIZURE therapy’ title implies the patient still needs to undergo a general aesthetic to have the treatment administer and the procedure is in respects similar to ECT. is a complete line of non-invasive magstim systems designed for clinical examinations and utilised for research within the areas of neurophysiology, neurology, rehabilitation and psychiatry.
