The Pablo® is an innovative therapy and rehabilitation device for patients with motor disorders in the upper extremities. It serves as an evaluation tool and sensor system for interactive training programmes. New accessories are about to be announced to expand on the Pablo's capabilities.
NEW: announced at Medica 2010; Pablo® Plus Multiball and Multiboard is an extension of the Pablo® HETS andprovides the possibility of actively training all parts of the upper limbs. Shoulder and elbow joints can be moved in all physiological directions. The therapy options which can be combined in numerous variations make the rehabilitation phase continuously interesting and motivating for the patient. To enable fine adjustment of the training the starting positions can be individually adjusted.

Combined with the Pablo® HETS the Pablo® Plus Multiball (above right) can be used for training distal movement of the upper limbs. The patient trains pronation and supination as well as dorsal extension and palmar flexion by means of a functional ball. Pablo® Plus Multiball can be used early in the rehabilitation phase because it is possible to attach the affected hand to it with flexible bands.
