Information for Patients
The Fesia Walk rehabilitation device is based on functional electrostimulation (FES) that generates all the relevant movements during walking, for people who have a dropped foot as a result of a disease or injury to the nervous system including:
- Stroke (CVA)
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury
- Cerebral Palsy (CP)
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Other neurological conditions
Uniquely, Fesia Walk generates surface electrical stimulation of the posterior tibial and peroneal nerves to trigger plantar and dorsiflexion in the corresponding gait phases.

- Magnetic closure
- Placement references
- Flexible
- Adopts the shape of the shank
- Full control on stimulation parameters
- Bluetooth connectivity
- More natural movements
- Delays onset of fatigue
- High selectivity of stimulation
- Real motion detection
- Less false positives
- Better patient monitoring
- Enables the rehabilitation to continue at home
- Easy-to-use system
- Improvement of quality of life
- Induces neuroplasticity
- Decreases the probability of falling, safer gait patterns
- Can be used at all stages of rehabilitation (acute, subacute and chronic)
- Only FES device to stimulate both plantar and dorsiflexion
- Controlled by an app from the Google store - no separate hand controller is required
- Setting and starting time set to the minimum
